Thea Vann

Community Outreach Liaison & Grant Administrator

Thea Vann serves as the lead Community Outreach Liaison and Grant Administrator for CLM Outreach, where she guides project development, manages funding strategy, and designs community infrastructure pipelines. Born into a legacy of service, Thea inherited her paternal grandmother's profound dedication to community and her father's civic drive, paired seamlessly with her mother's gift of lifelong creativity.

As an Indigenous beadworker and textile artist, she specializes in crafting intricate beadwork, custom ribbon skirts, and traditional dance regalia. Her dual passion for administrative advocacy and cultural preservation directly shapes her leadership over community initiatives like the Sovereign Threads traditional craft project and the high-tech Dawn-Box Digital Hub.

When she isn't architecting regional development programs or writing grant pipelines, Thea can be found immersion-writing novels and poetry, hand-beading jewelry, or sewing custom regalia for her eight children.

Rooted in service. Open to partnership.

We welcome community members, organizations, and allies who want to grow this circle of work.
