Traditional craft, in the hands of those who teach it. Lectures from those who carry the stories. Community, woven together.
Traditional Craft Workshops
Art as memory. Craft as teaching.
Hands-on sessions led by Indigenous artists — beadwork, regalia, ribbon work, and the crafts that carry our story forward. These workshops are open to the community and guided by those who have inherited the knowledge firsthand.
Community Programming
Growing the circle together.
Beyond workshops and lectures, Sovereign Threads hosts additional gatherings, learning days, and cultural events throughout the year — creating more touchpoints for the community to come together, celebrate, and reconnect. Open workshop time is available throughout the week, giving community members a relaxed space to drop in, work on their craft, learn from one another, and connect with our instructors.
